King Solomons mines was really good. The lost world (Sir Arther Conan Dolyes... 20,000 Leagues under the sea is my favorite book ever. In reality, most adventure/sci-fi things from the 19th century are gold... :D

I have every Stephen King book written and they're all pretty fuckin good I would also try classics like 1984 & The Catcher In The Rye also if you want some that will aid in your guitar playing try the Thesaurus of Scales & Melodic Tones not sure if thats the exact title but its very similar to that

if your in to Fantasy check out R. A. Salvatore series about Drizzt Do'Urden. (Old school D&D based) They are the best series of books i have ever read. Most importantly is once you get into them it's hard to stop.

Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad is a good book. It inspired Apocalypse Now, although the subject matter is different.

A really good book you can just escape into is The Hobbit by Tolkien. Strangely I never got into the main trilogy, it just goes on and on and the story never feels like it's going anywhere, but The Hobbit is a really fun book, one of my faves anyway!

Read the bible before you read playboy. It's much more fun making love to Mrs. Hand and her five lovely daughters if your feeling guilty!
