Okay, so a new band called Warbringer is out, they have a full length album and they are bringing back true, old school trash metal. Check it out:

I saw them last Christmas at the whiskey. They were really good, I liked the vocals more live then on the album. Not all Screamy... :)

I would love to see them. If they came here I would so go.

Good band overall and for their efforts of bringing thrash back. The singer is not too good. Guitar solos are classic thrash. THey need to scream less. I cant believe they are even in the publics interest though. Not many people like thrash anymore.

sounds like: the singer wishes he was in slayer, the guitar player is trying too hard, the bass player isnt confident and the drummer is just beating the shit out of his set. very loose, very amateur. In my opinion... of course i didnt make it to the end of the song...

Agreed. I guess I was never a big thrash fan anyway though so...

I actually like it, total war is cool but they are a new band, so give them time

The question is though, has anyone heard of Bonded by Blood, Lich King or Majster Kat? They are the best of the movement so far... Bonded by Blood will probably be to most likings.
