Pick Up The Pieces

by foogered

Here's the melody to a popular, funky song called "Pick up the Pieces". Some of you might recognize it from the recent Will Ferrel Movie, "Semi-Pro".

The lick is based off a D# Major scale. Rhythm guitar strums a D#sus4 in a funky 16th note pattern under the lick until Riff 3 which jumps up to A#sus4.

Just a silly pedant of mine, but there's no such thing as the D# major scale - it's Eb major.
